A Lamborghini,
low, wide, sealed.

A Huracán is low. An Aventador or a Revuelto is low, wide, and opens its doors upward. Brandt loads Lamborghinis on a lift-gate with the strap layout set for the width, and plans the driver's way out of the car before it goes in.

What a Lamborghini needs from a trailer

Level loading on the lift-gate, with the front lift system raised where the car has one. A wide track means the soft loops are set for that width before the car arrives, not adjusted around it. Scissor doors need overhead room and a plan: the car is positioned so the driver can open the door and step out without the door meeting the trailer wall. A fixed wing on a Performante, an STO or an SVJ is measured against the interior height at quote.

Before pickup

  • Battery tender on until the day; say whether it travels
  • About a quarter tank of fuel
  • Wheel-lock key ready, front lift working, alarm off
  • Wraps, film and exposed carbon are noted so pads and straps are chosen for them
  • An Urus loads like the SUV it is, which makes it the easy one

Where they go

Dealer transfers between Texas and the coasts, purchases coming home, Scottsdale and Monterey auction traffic, SEMA builds to Las Vegas and back, and Circuit of the Americas weekends. Private trailer for the fixed dates; shared for the rest.

Questions on this

How do you get out of an Aventador inside the trailer?

By planning where it stops. The car is positioned so the scissor door can open fully and the driver can step out, and the strapping is done from outside the door line. It is a routine part of loading these cars and the reason the specialist asks which model it is.

Is the Urus treated differently?

It loads like a large SUV: more of the trailer, no clearance problem, strapped by the wheels like everything else. The quote reflects the space it takes rather than the badge.

Can the straps handle a wide-body car?

Yes. The strap layout is set to the car's track width before pickup, with soft loops around the wheels and nothing on the body or the aero. Wide-body cars are common on the trailer.
