What is enclosed auto transport?
Enclosed auto transport moves a vehicle inside a hard-sided trailer instead of on an open two-deck carrier. The car is shielded from weather, road debris and other people's eyes for the whole trip. Brandt runs enclosed only, in its own trailers, loading with a lift-gate and soft straps on the wheels.
Is Brandt Logistics a carrier or a broker?
Brandt is a licensed motor carrier, USDOT 8241239 and MC 88061603, not a broker. The specialist who quotes your transport runs it in a Brandt trailer under Brandt's authority and cargo insurance. Nothing is handed to a third party. You can verify the authority on FMCSA SAFER before you book.
How much does enclosed transport cost?
It depends on the lane, whether the vehicle shares the trailer or travels alone, its size and ride height, pickup and delivery access, and timing. Brandt does not publish a rate card. A specialist calls back within two hours with a firm written quote, and that figure is the figure. What moves the price is explained here.
How is my vehicle loaded?
On a lift-gate rather than up a steep ramp, so low front splitters and diffusers stay off the ground. Inside, the car is strapped by the wheels with soft loops, never by the frame or the suspension, and the trailer is sealed. The load is photographed and timestamped before the doors close.
What insurance covers my vehicle in transit?
Brandt carries $1M+ in cargo insurance and sends the certificate before pickup, on every transport. It covers the vehicle while it is in Brandt's care, from the condition report at pickup to the signature at delivery. Personal items left in the car are not cargo and are not covered, so take them out.
What is the difference between a shared and a private trailer?
A shared enclosed trailer carries your vehicle with a small number of others on a scheduled lane. A private trailer carries your vehicle alone, leaves when it is loaded and drives straight to the delivery address on your schedule. Private is for high-value, time-sensitive and event moves; shared is the sensible default for most. The full comparison.

How should I prepare my car for pickup?
Wash it so the condition report is accurate, leave about a quarter tank of fuel, take out personal items and toll tags, switch off aftermarket alarms, and have the keys ready.
