What we collect

When you request transport or enquire about a vehicle, we receive what you type into the form: your name, phone number, email address, the vehicle, the route and dates, and any notes. Google Analytics records that a form was started and sent, but never what was typed into it.

Like every website, our hosting provider records standard server logs — the address a request came from, the page requested, the time, and the browser type. We also run Google Analytics on every page. It sets two cookies in your browser, named _ga and _ga_NWNE6VRZG5, and uses them to tell one visit from the next. Through them we see which pages were opened and in what order, how long the visit lasted, the device, browser and language, where the visit arrived from, and the country, state and city Google works out from your network address. Google discards that address rather than storing it, and it is never shown to us. We do not run advertising trackers, and nothing you type into a form is sent to Google.

How it is used

Form submissions are emailed to Ship@brandtlogistics.com and used for one thing: to answer you and, if you go ahead, to arrange the transport or the sale. We do not sell or rent your details, and we do not send marketing you have not asked for.

Who handles it

The site is hosted on Vercel. Form email is delivered through Resend, with FormSubmit as a fallback relay. Each of these processes the submission only to deliver it. The analytics are processed by Google LLC, which holds them on its own servers in the United States under its terms for Google Analytics.

Turning it off

You can stop the analytics. Google publishes a browser add-on that blocks them on every site, at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout. Blocking scripts in your browser or clearing the two cookies does the same thing here, and some browsers do it for you — Brave blocks them by default, Safari limits how long they last. Nothing on this site stops working either way, and the forms and the phone number behave the same.

Keeping and removing it

Enquiries are kept as long as they are useful for the transport or sale they relate to, and for our records afterwards. The analytics are held by Google for fourteen months and then deleted, and we keep no copy of them. Email Ship@brandtlogistics.com and we will delete what we hold about you.
